1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Beyond Whisper ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Beyond Whisper is a macOS application that records your voice, transcribes it using AI, and pastes polished text into the active application. The App requires an internet connection to process audio.

3. Account & Authentication

You must sign in with a Google account to use the App. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or infrastructure
  • Share your account access with unauthorized third parties
  • Use the App to process audio content that you do not have the right to record

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including all code, design, and branding, is the property of Beyond Whisper. You retain ownership of your audio recordings and the text generated from them. We claim no rights over your content.

6. Beta Disclaimer

The App is currently in beta. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice. We provide the App "as is" during the beta period with no guarantees of uptime or reliability.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beyond Whisper shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes.
