When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. This information is stored in our database to manage your account and session.

Audio Data

When you record audio, it is streamed to our servers for transcription. Audio data is processed in real-time and is not permanently stored on our servers. Audio is discarded after transcription is complete.

Usage Metrics

We collect anonymized transcription metrics (e.g., recording duration, timestamps) to improve the service. We do not store transcript text on our servers.

Local Data

Your transcription history, custom dictionary, and settings are stored locally on your Mac. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share it.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate you and maintain your session
• To process your audio recordings into text
• To apply AI post-processing for improved text quality
• To monitor service health and improve performance

3. Data Security

Your session token is encrypted using macOS Keychain. All communication between the App and our servers uses encrypted connections. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure.

4. Data Retention

• Audio recordings: discarded immediately after transcription
• Account data: retained while your account is active
• Usage metrics: retained for service improvement
• Local data: stored on your device until you delete it

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes.
